2.000 years of history: discover the secrets of the Gothic Quarter

In this three-hour tour you will discover the most important monuments and places of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, the most ancient district of Barcelona. This city is 2.000 years old but still maintains its charm with great monuments and hidden gems with hundreds of years of history.

  • Barcelona is a city with a history stretching back 2.000 years to the time of the Romans. While the Catalonian capital has transformed many times over the centuries, it still retains the charm of the former historic eras.

    The tour will start in Arco de Triunfo, and then we will visit the great Ciutadella Park. Highlights include the Castle of the Three Dragons, the Zoo, the Catalonian Parliament and the spectacular waterfall.

    After that, we will go into the most ancient district of Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter. With some narrow streets, there are always plenty of nice surprises and hidden gems of the city waiting to be discovered. Highlights include the Jewish Quarter, the majestic Cathedral, the Plaza del Rey, the Roman walls, the Gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar, among many more.

  • This walking tour includes services like:

    • Private tour guide, your guide will meet you at your hotel/apartment.
    • A welcome pack with a bottle of water and a city map.
    • An ice cream or a snack and some other surprises.
    • Public transport tickets.

    Not included: monument entrance fees, in case you want to go inside to visit them.
